Crib or Mini Crib?

First time mom here, and I'm just a bit overwhelmed. I don't really know what I do and don't need so I'm trying to get it all figured out. I'm gonna use a pack n play in my room to keep Baby G close until I think he's big enough to move across the hall into his own room, (any suggestions of that time frame are welcome too!) But when the time comes should I have a mini crib or a regular crib? I'm only 22 weeks but trying to plan ahead and get as much done now as possible. TIA!!

I have very limited space so we went with a mini crib. We got the Stokke Sleepi Mini, and you can buy conversion rails to turn it into a regular crib and a toddler bed. It's quite a lot more expensive than some of the options we looked at, but I think it'll be worth it.

I'm a FTM too be I've had a hard time with this too. I wanted a mini, then a full so I could transition it as he/she got bigger. But now I'm preggo with twins so I'm thinking mini again to save space since I'll have two! So I need help too lol

If you can fit a regular crib, I recommend that. It can also be turned into a toddler bed for when he outgrows the crib, and sheet sets aren't as hard to find.

Regular crib. They don't stay small forever. My kid uses every inch of her crib.

We have a small place too and didn't want too many things. We got a crib for practicality. You can use it longer then a mini one. We used a rock and play for the first few months but then removed one side from the crib and tucked it tightly up against our bed, making sure his mattress was level with ours. This kept in safe in his own space but close as well. Granted I couldn't exit my bed from my side because his bed took up the whole sapce all the way to the wall but I didn't mind.

If you have the space, get a regular crib, it will last into toddler hood and male buying the mattress and sheets easier. We are doing a pack n play for my bedroom and regular crib for baby's room.
