When should I take a test?

My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby, my period ended on July 1 and we've had sex before during and after my most fertile days . My period is due August 3 , when is the earliest I can test? My boobs hurt , feel sick in the morning sometimes , very tired and I have headaches .

It really depends when you ovulated. Sometimes it can be later then you think, and the test will be negative.To be definitely sure take the test the day before you expect your period. I'm sure it would show something.

I tested two days before my missed period and got my BFP. It was super faint but it was there.

I took a test 5 days before missed period it was an extremely faint positive next day I took a clear blue and it said pregnant :) I would say 5 days but don't be disappointed if it doesn't show up!

If you want a definite answer, wait and see if you miss your period. If you do, take a test. If you can't wait that long, it's usually 5 days before your missed period (depending on the test). Make sure you use your first pee of the day for a more accurate test.
