Bad Fall At The Beach...Tail Bone

Hi, I was wondering if any of you have had a pretty bad fall that you think you've felt pain later in your life where you fell. I fell pretty much on my butt/tailbone on shallow water at the beach when I was surfing and I fell off landing underwater on the sand on my butt. I literally have a bruise on each butt cheek on the exact same spot. The area of my tail bone still hurts. I know it's not my back because it hurts close to the muscles I use to go the restroom for #2 lol. So I was just curious if any of you have fallen in which you've experienced chronic or continuous  pain later on in life.
