Armpit yeast infection? Please help!

A few months ago I was on a trip where I was constantly sweating/working in the sun and only got a 3 minute shower every day. I was also using a deodorant with way too much shea butter in it, PLUS I was on antibiotics.

So, consequently, I got a yeast infection in my pits. I didn't even know that was possible. Either way, it SUCKED.

As soon as I figured it out, I was able to get rid of it in a couple weeks.

And now, I'm continuing to take all the preventative measures I can, but I'm definitely getting the infection again. Apparently this is something that happens to newborns, but, you know. Does anybody have any experiences with this? Any tips that could help get rid of it before it gets worse?? I'm a little bit desperate. I don't want the itching and burning and stinking again; it's embarrassing enough already...
