Infected tongue ring? TMI!

Question

I've had my tongue piercing for 6 days now. No pain or pus before today I was just checking it and I see this come out. There is no pain at all. Is this an early sign of infection or just healing? Tia

Mine did that when I first got it. Just some puss. I liked to clean mine up with q cotton swab.

I don't remember mine doing that at all. My husband's didn't either but he took his out a couple years ago because he didn't like where it was pierced at. Keep up on the mouth wash and if it continues go back to the piercer and ask them.

Are you using mouth wash? I remember when I had mine done they told me to use the gold colored mouth wash to help keep infection away.

I haven't had my tongue pierced in years, but if I remember correctly that's normal. As long as you're keeping your mouth clean it should subside
