Ladies,did any body experience back labor?

To start my baby is posterior,
My due date was 3 days ago and this is baby #2. 
I have been feeling cramps for weeks,but last night I had the WORST pain in my abdomen and I swear I was feeling contractions in my back. 
Does that mean labor is very close? I'm still in pain this morning,my body is soooo sore. the pressure I feel in my vagina is ridiculous.
I was induced with my first and everything was smooth and honestly painless. 
This time I wanna do it natural at a birthing center but am scared since he is sunny side up

I was induced with my first, and honestly i don't know her position- I wasn't educated on it and I didn't know to even ask. I had the WORST back labor ever, and labored for 36 hours with her. I had a very hard time dilating and it took me over 24 hours just to get to 2cm. I know part of the reason the labor was so bad was that my cervix just wasn't ripe, but I had to be induced for suspected IUGR (small baby). She may very well have been posterior as well because it felt like my back would just implode with every contraction. My husband had to use all of his strength to stand over me (I was on the birth ball) and do counter pressure on my lower back.

I'm 39+6 today and I'm starting to feel a little crampy and back pressure. My baby right now is head down, kind of sideways with her back on my left side and her feet on my right. Her head is facing my right so she's not considered sunny side up and the doctor was not concerned. I'm still trying to do lots of leaning forward and pelvic tilts to make sure she turns the right way.

My boys were both sunny side up and the labor was lonnnngg and excruciatingly painful in my back. I just had my daughter 5 days ago and it was still very painful however the contractions were all in the front and she came very fast! Got to the hospital at 145 and she came three hours later! Good luck you will do great either way! I opted for the epidural all three times and do not regret it one bit!

My baby was posterior and I definitely had tons of pressure/pain in my lower back even after the epidural.  Labored for 54 hours and couldn't progress past 8cm. Ended up having to have a c-section.  Not the way I wanted it to happen, but seeing him in the end was totally worth it.

My son was, the issue was that I was stuck on my back all the way through labour. Other than that, no problems. I can't say if it was more painful, I have nothing to compare it to, but I managed with just laughing gas

My baby was posterior, and I had a stomach ache like contractio, till they got super strong than my hips felt like they were ripping apart and I kept asking my husband to put pressure on my hips ( like come behind me and squeeze my hips as hard as he could. I couldn't stand up or sit in a chair, I felt more comfortable squatting down hugging the chair.  it sucks but so worth it in the end!
