Witching Hour?!? 😩😩😩

My 6 week old baby is an absolute ANGEL during the day. She feeds and sleeps so well. HOWEVER for the past few days she gets her bath, bottle, and to put her down for her longest stretch is a nightmare. She seems satisfied with life until it's time to sleep for that final time. Usually from 8-10pm.. She is fussyyyyyy and cries for about an hour to an hour and a hand before finally giving us that 5/6 hour stretch. Is this one if those things I have to deal with or is there a remedy?!

Yup same here. Bath and feed from 7-8 and then she fights me from about 8-930 sometimes 10.

Have you tried putting her to bed for the night earlier?  Like at 8pm and letting her start her long stretch then?  We've been doing that with my 6wo and its stopped the witching hour.  Sure it's inconvenient to go to bed that early, but it's been working for us.

I was having this problem until we started to put him down in bassinet at about 8pm before he starts fussing. we don't pick back up - soothe, rub belly, give pacifier. And he's usually sleeping before 9pm. Before we started this routine he was very fussy and we tried every swing, bouncy, rocking, etc...

Mine is 4 weeks and does this 8-930/10. Just something you have to wait out, usually stops before month 3

Mine is 8 weeks and he's doing exactly the same, assuming it was colic we gave him gripe water and it was the best thing we did as soon as he had it he settled completely. We only give him half doses as he's a small baby but it still works miracles.

Sounds like colic to me. It's something I wish my daughter didn't have to go thru but she's my 3rd one, so I now the routine now. It last a few weeks sometimes up to the first 4 months of their life. My oldest had it. Middle child skipped it, now my youngest has it. This too shall pass but man does it hurt to see them cry so much. ❤️
