Help!! Need advice :)

My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months now. He's my first boyfriend, and we both really love each other...however I'm starting to question that. It's a long distance relationship and he lives across the country most of the time-I get to see him during breaks. He's normally super loving and caring and attentive. He came back for summer break, I went over to his house and *stuff happened* for one night. A week later, I was looking forward to seeing him again at a party, but he didn't even speak to me because he didn't want anyone to find out about our relationship (long story on that). I was heartbroken, but I told him how I felt and  told him what was wrong. We made up.
