Don't know what to do

So my baby girl is 7 weeks old and we are having such a hard time with her. She will not let us put her down, and not only that but we have to be moving when holding her. I would just wear her all the time but I have a bad back from a past injury and it hurts to wear her for more than an hour. The only time she lets us lay her down is for bed time but during the day if we try, then she wakes up and screams. Anyone else's babies this way?
