Sludge in gallbladder while pregnant?

Has anyone been diagnosed with sludge in your gallbladder while pregnant? I'm 31 weeks and have been in HORRIBLE PAIN for about 3 days now and that's what the ultrasound tech just said she saw. . If this happened to you, what was your experience?

I was hospitalized for cannabanoid hypermesis when I was 17. When I was hospitalized we didn't have a diagnosis. They did an ultrasound on all of my organs and there was sludge in my galbladder, it never hurt or anything I just was constantly throwing up and couldn't keep anything down. I had hypermesis in the beginning of my pregnancy as well up to 18 weeks

They might prescribe ursodiol to help or you may need it removed. Gallbladder problems are very common in pregnancy. Did they give you anything for the pain? I've been there and eventually had it removed and I don't miss that little sucker at all!

Had a gallbladder attack when I was 6 months pregnant. Was told to eat a low fat diet and if it got infected, I'd have to have invasive surgery because my uterus was too large (it prevented them from doing it laparoscopicly) I had to wait until 8 weeks postpartum and had it removed. I had 125 gallstones in my gallbladder and 1 in my bile duct, which made me sick as a dog.

It's pretty common. Sludge and stones are normal, it just depends on how much it bothers you. Some cases are worse, which may lead to the removal of the gallbladder, but most of the time it isn't an issue. You can look up doing a cleanse, which may help (talk to your doctor about it first).
