EI Mat Leave, when to ask for ROE?

I'm waiting till the last minute to go on mat leave (hopefully in 9 wks when I'm due), but I'm wondering when to ask for my ROE? One lady I work with said it can take a while, and I also read on the ROE factsheet that it had to be submitted within 5 days of your last payday if you're paid biweekly (which I am)... anyone have any info or experience with this?

I really don't want to wait longer than the 2 week waiting period to start getting my mat leave pay (I have truck payments).
