So freaking over this.

My boyfriend's lease st his condo was up yesterday. We've been waiting for a woman with another condo to show it to us for two or three weeks now and she keeps bailing. We're supposed to go meet with her today at noon but I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, in the meantime, we're having to stay at my mom's for a bit because we don't have anywhere else to go. There are many, many issues with this. One being that she's got one of my cats here and has had him for nearly a year. She's been asking me if she can keep him but no. Especially not after seeing what's been happening. She lets her dogs go after him (70lb black lab and a 50lb shepherd dog), she never cleans his litter box & just waits until we come here to have us do it (there were bugs crawling in it when we came over!!!), if he throws up she waits for us to show up to clean it up as well otherwise she just leaves it laying there. My cat has been so sick here lately and I'm thinking the living conditions are to blame. I shave him because he gets so fluffy and when I just did it last week, I noticed that he's been pulling his fur out and has sores all over his entire body. It makes me want to cry. Moving onto the dogs. When she lets them out, she leaves them about all day. Won't let me bring them in because they get too rowdy. She rarely ever gives them water while they're outside and they come in with foam at their mouths. She leaves them to use the restroom out in the garage and it gets cleaned once a week, twice if we're lucky. So needless to say, it reeks of cat urine/poop and dog urine/poop here 24/7. Another thing: She is a chain smoker and the house is filled with the stench of it. If we're in the car, she tells me to crack MY window so the smoke can exit, knowing I'm in the passenger seat AND pregnant. She knows that I shouldn't be around this at all but I sometimes have absolutely no other choice like if I've got to go to a doctors appointment and she has to drive me. To think that this is only touching base with 1/3 of the issues and that she thinks that all of this makes for acceptable living conditions is beyond me. She even wanted my boyfriend and I to move in with her permanently after our daughter is born!! If we could move somewhere else right now, we certainly would but we've run into some unfortunate circumstances that are delaying our ability to. Anyhow, I just needed to rant a bit. This whole thing has me feeling defeated. 😣
