Hip pain with contractions. Will be 38 weeks tomorrow.

I have horrible contractions. Last Friday we went to the hospital because I freakishly only dripped two drops of blood in the toilet (I am having my 3rd csection so really don't wanna labor at home and put us at risk)my cervix was closed and my contractions are so irregular but the doctor said they are not braxton hicks because they are too strong that they are real contractions even tho they are in frequent. So here's my question. Has anyone else experienced horrible hip pain during contractions? I have woke up all night nearly crying because my hips ached so bad when I'd have a contraction. They don't seem to hurt as bad If I'm not laying down (because I'm laying on either my right or left side) my contractions yesterday seemed to be about 10 minutes apart but would sometimes space out. I chugged water to make sure they were not from dehydration. I do have an appointment monday and would rather wait it out. But curious if anyone has dealt with this hip pain during contractions? (Sorry so long)
