Questions please answer honestly. So say you see text messages of your SO, boyfriend or girlfriend. The female says  responds to a comment the male says with fuck you to a statement made by the male,then the male responds with When.. Lol jk.

As a partner of either of the female/male what is perceived? Is it innocent joking or is something being implied in a joking manner? To get the picture a little more they both work third shift from 11-7 together in the hotel industry. Female front desk male security. Only two. Also add that the male ask the female before work "bring us something to eat". What to do as the SO of either?

It's an inappropriate conversation. I wouldn't worry about the food part, I have a coworker (married male) and we get lunch together every day... Rather, he brings it to me because I'm lazy.

But the "f you" comment and reply is not appropriate. If my husband did that, we'd be talking pretty seriously. Though he'd also be super pissed at me for even checking his phone. Make sure you're covered on that end.
