What would you do if none of your child's friends came to their birthday party?

What would you do if none of your child's friends came to their birthday party? All of their parents confirmed they will be coming to the party and I've already paid for everything. The weather is fine over here so that's not the problem. I don't want my little kiddo to feel sad. What should I do? Should I call the parents or let it go?

Just tell your son that you made other plan and this was your way to surprise him with something better. If they dont show then leave them and dont invite them again. Id say take lil man to do something else like go bowling. Mini golf go kart movie etc. Im not sure why they wouldnt show when they rsvp but its pretty shady

Don't want to make you feel worse, but I had the same thing happen to me when I was younger. Only one person showed up to my birthday party. I still had fun at the time, but like it was second grade and I'm 25 now and still remember it. I would call a few of the parents that you are friends with who already said they would go and explain the situation.

I'd call the parents to remind them and be nice and ask if they're still able to make it because you'd love to see them there.

This is exactly why my son doesn't have huge parties. We do something small for him, then go on vacation.

Screw them. Take your kid and do something really fun and awesome like to cosi or a water park(if he is old enough and would enjoy it)
