Etiquette

My family threw a sprinkle for me at the end of May, I did my thank you cards within a few weeks.  Well I just recently found 2 that I never sent out because I had to look up the addresses.  Do I still send them? What's the etiquette for this? Part of me feels like it's too late and would be awkward. I did however receive a wedding thank you 7 months after a friends wedding.
