Is breastfeeding easy for you?

breastfeeding easy for you?" /> I'm on kid #4 and once again on a constant struggle to breastfeed for as long as I can before my milk supply will inevitably dry up... For those that BF (or have tried) how many of you also constantly struggle with either baby fussing while eating, latch issues, low supply, food allergies, etc (answer no, it's hard)  And how many breastfeed with no issues, happy baby and lots of milk supply (answer yes, it's easy)?

I have been fortunate to have a good supply and a good eater. I have to be careful of dairy because of gas but I eat mostly vegan anyway so its not hard. The thing I find hard is that although he only wakes once at night,  he wants to eat just about every hour and half during the day. Breastfeeding is a huge commitment.  Kudos to all the moms who struggle and keep trying!

I struggled with both babies both had latching issues. When I worked I had issues with pumping enough milk. My supply came late with my first. I got told my milk wasn't good enough by mother in law etc I went through a lot.... But I manage to breastfeed my first up 1 year literally on her birthday had to stop bc I was pregnant and my milk would make her throw up my second was just as hard but I'm 2 months still going I'm hope to last 18 months this time

I struggle with being able to pump more than 2 oz at a time. My son is breastfed tho... So I pump after he's been fed... He also spends at least 40 mins for every feed and spends about 20+ mins at a time on each breast... He cluster feeds all day... He wants to nurse every 1-2 hours during the day and then 2-3 hours at night. It's exhausting... I know most other people don't have to nurse as long as we do and I worry he's getting enough milk...
