Moving In

I've been talking with a guy for 6 months now ( I really really like him and think I'm starting to love him) he asked me to move in with him, but I think it's too soon since he hasn't even asked me to be his girlfriend yet. Just today he called me his girlfriend. lol I wanted to know the stories of any of you who moved in with your boyfriend how long did you wait to move in together?
