C section with out pain killers?

First off I'm in recovery. Been clean off opiates for about 2 years now. I have to get another c section because of complications with my first delivery. I can understand how my mother is worried about me receiving pain killers as am I. She tells me she only got Tylenol when she had her c section for me 26 years ago and that's all I'll need. I hate how she compares everything to how she had it back then. I also asked her last night for a suit case so I can pack some stuff and she said you don't need to bring anything the hospital w have gowns, pads, etc...😑 she didn't pack anything.. with my last c section they sent me home w pain killers, but this time I wasn't gonna take any home. Do you think it would be to hard to do with just Tylenol from the start?***** as I am worried I am not to worried. Opiates really ruined my life and I've lost 7 friends to addiction in 2 years. I dropped out of college, went to jail, rehab ( still in outpatient) lost everything even my daughters father is in prison because of it. I would NEVER go back to using.
