Is it confterble for a baby to sleep in a pack and play ?

Me and my husband just moved to our new apartment  and we use to live  in a house... my sons crib dosent fit in our 1 bedroom apartment  so is it a good idea  to buy my son a pack and play and let him sleep there ??? I mean i dnt want my son to get use to sleeping with mommy and daddy  so what should i do im going crazy haha  my son is 1 year and 4 months  what do yall think ?🤔

We are using a pack n play as a bassinet for our newborn.

I don't think it's comfortable enough to be a permanent sleep solution.

We use our daughters pack and play on vacation or when we stay over any where but I don't think it could be a permanent sleeping place because the bottoms really hard.

They can totally sleep in there but I don't think it's probably comfortable. My son doesn't like the mattress. It is like sleeping on the floor.

When my son was an infant, the ONLY way he would sleep for more than 5 minutes in his pack n play was if I took a big fuzzy blanket and put it in there for more padding. If the blanket was in there, then he would sleep for about 3 hours at a time in there.

My son sleeps in a pack n play. I didn't want to dish out a bunch of money for a crib. I didn't like the mattress is came with though so I went on Amazon and got a memory foam mattress instead. It was only like $30. My son has no problem and sleeps 10-12hrs in it.

My LO has been sleeping in a packnplay since she was born. We are living with my parents bc we are building a house and don't have a choice. She does great in there. We got a quilted sheet so it makes it softer. She's 4 1/2 months now. She sleeps 11 hrs a night.
