Having baby in 4 days!

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be induced on the 8th of August (due date is the 9th) he said he doesn't want the baby to get bigger, since I don't want a csection. Is it ok to be induced without any medical condition...? Please comment and give me some advice. I want my baby to get here but I'm just scared of that induced part... I've heard so many stories that kind of scare me but then again some other ones hat aren't so bad.
