Tears of joy ❤️

So since birth my son wasn't able to latch onto my nipples since they were inverted. So I've stuck to a nipple shield and at 9 days old he had a fever so he just wouldn't take it at all. We had to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks for other medical conditions that came up and during this time we had to supplement and have me pump. Well, last night while doing skin to skin I decided to try and have him latch on and he did ❤️❤️ I literally held him and cried tears of happiness. My SO smiled at me and kissed me. He'll be 1 month next week on the 11th and I'm just glad he finally latched on ☺️☺️ hopefully I don't have to supplement anymore!
