Weird "Tradition"

So this is my 3rd pregnancy with my fiance. 1st was a miscarriage and the 2nd lead to our amazing daughter. To help him get excited when we got out of the high risk of miscarriage timeframe I told him to buy the baby their first toy from mommy and daddy. We had a feeling she was a girl so he bought her a tiny stuffed pink cat that rattled. We had some pregnancy complications but she turned out to be healthy and came 2 weeks early. So with this pregnancy we hit the 12 1/2 week mark and I decided to buy the baby it's first toy. It is a tiny stuffed lion that crinkles and rattles. I know it might sound weird but I kind of like it. It makes me feel like it's more real and I feel more connected to the baby. Am I crazy? Anyone else have weird little things they do?
