Issue durning sex!!!

As stated before this is my second pregnancy. I'll be 23 weeks this Sunday.
Last night my hubby and I wanted sex, but this go around, it was hard to "get in" and it started to burn. We then used lube and it still had a burning feeling. Is this normal? I realize it swells some down there. This never really happened durning my first pregnancy 3 years ago, besides the usual "tightness". My question is, is it normal to feel that tight, and it burning really bad? Of course my husband enjoyed it, but for me it felt awful.
