When was your first ultrasound.

Question

At how many weeks was your first ultrasound? When is it typically done? A friend said 13 weeks but Google said 18-20 I don't want to wait that long to see my baby.

Depends on several factors.
If u are considered high risk. What state ur in, what office u go to. .etc
My first one was at 6 weeks.
Then 8 weeks, 12 weeks NT scan, 15 weeks, 18 weeks anatomy scan part 1, 22 weeks anatomy scan part 2, 26 weeks, and today at 30 weeks. Next one at 34 weeks.

Usually between 6-12 weeks. 18-20 weeks is the anatomy ultrasound in which they can tell you the gender. My first ultrasound was at 9 weeks. If it's before six weeks you may only see the sac and no baby

I got one at 10 weeks to make sure she was in a good spot and stuff, then another at 20 weeks and that's it!

I had my very first one at 5w6d. Externally and vaginally. Got to hear the heart beat and see the flutter of the heart beat. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow.

My dr office does one at about 8 weeks then again at 20. That's it. Expect if you are high risk. I fall into the super high risk category so I got one at 8, 13, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 etc. yea every other week SUCKS. especially since they are measuring cervix length so they are all internal.

I had one at 8w to determine viable pregnancy then another at 10w for a dating scan. I'm now 14w and won't get another u til anatomy scan! Which is 18-20 weeks.

I had one @ six weeks to confirm my pregnancy and my next one will be on the 18th because my little one was some small so the doctor giving it time to grow. And I think it depends on doctor!!
