Women and men friends.

So i several questions in my mind. I have been taught all my life that once you become married its not right to talk and text the opposite sex, because it creates stress that dont need to be. My wife had men friends before we got married. However, i ask her before we got married if she talk and text other men and she said no. We have had several blow ups about this subject. Can a woman really be in a marriage and have men friends and be trusted, even if she dont willingly tell you who she is talking too?
