Producing milk after 8 months post-BF
One of my friends is having this problem and we're wondering if anyone has advice.
Baby is 20 months old now. She stopped breastfeeding at 12 months. The milk dried up pretty fast, but now- 8 months later- she's started producing milk again. She says she hasn't been stimulating her nipples more than normal (?), or taking supplements that would increase milk supply... What could this be? Is this a cause for alarm? Has this happened to you?
