Anyone else?

Anyone feel pure exhaustion and so thirsty almost instantly after baby latches to nipple. I also feel so tired during feedings it's weird. We've only been doing this for 5 days

Oxytocin is what is making you so sleepy,  but also helping you bond with that sweet baby :)

Completely normal. I've even fallen asleep nursing in bed a time or two. And yes, SO thirsty. I keep the big cup from the hospital with me all the time & refill it a few times a day. Keep up the good work Momma!

Feeding takes a lot of energy, calories and water - make sure to have a glass of water before and during feeding, and to eat well! It's hard at the start, but it does her easier :)
