Obviously you have sex, but what is the process? When is best? How do you get pregnant and how can you prevent it?

If you're looking to get pregnant id suggest using ovulation strips to test when you ovulate and have sex about every other day and obviously no protection and have him finish inside you. There's also charting your basal body temperature and from what I've heard you should do it for a few cycles to understand how your cycle works and then be sure to have sex on the days your temps read that your ovulating. Or some women use preseed during sex to help achieve pregnancy. 
If you want to prevent it use birth control and/or condoms. There's always plan b but that's not a form of birth control and it can mess with your cycle for a few cycles after you take it (that's why you shouldn't use it often).

Track your ovulation and have sex 24-36 hours after the peak because that is when you would be ovulating. Having sex around your fertile week helps if you don't get it right on through because sperm can live inside you for a few days. When you ovulate an egg is released and if you have sex around then the egg gets fertilized and implants in your uterus. 
To prevent pregnancy you need to use condoms and/or birth control. Neither are 100% but they are pretty close when used together and condoms are a must to prevent sti's.
