Umbilical cord cleaning
At the hospital I was told to just let it dry out on its own. They don't provide alcohol prep pads anymore. I researched it and many sites say it's fine to use the alcohol pads. I used them with my previous 3 kids and all went will.
What do all of you think? Did the rules change at your hospital as well? She's 4 days old and I'm tempted to go buy some alcohol lads and start cleaning her umbilical cord?
