Is anyone else terrified of dying during labor?

Morbid I know but it's my biggest fear

Never thought about that and I have severe anxiety. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. Now pooping while giving birth? That's my real fear lol! But in all seriousness, it's close to impossible to die while giving birth in a room full of well trained professionals.

It crosses my mind that there are complications that could result in death, but I don't dwell on it especially because it's not as common of an occurance during labor and delivery anymore. My main concern is birthing a healthy baby. Try focusing your thoughts on your baby and positive imagery of him/her being born healthy and lying in your arms when you have negative thoughts or worries about death.
