The virgin needs help

So, I'm a virgin but my boyfriend does finger me and I'm pretty sure he popped my cherry at one point cause I had some bleeding and lately I've been spotting some afterwards and even having some brownish discharge the day after. Is that a sign I need to go get checked out or he just needs to take it back a notch? I thought it was just because he popped my cherry but it's happened almost every time since now and I'm a little worried...
