D&C happened yesterday

Well, it finally happened. BFP after 3 years ttc, then went for 1st ultrasound at 10 weeks- no heartbeat, baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. After a slew of tests, I decided to go with D&C. I don't think I could manage a natural labor at home, not was interested in waiting 4-6 weeks for it to happen, and dealing with a bloody and painful mess for 1-3 days. Bless you women who can do that!

Oddly enough, I've made peace with it. It seems surreal to me. I see all of us women struggling everyday on Glow & find it comforting to know I'm not alone. Thank each of you beautiful, strong women who have been supportive. A quick note takes a moment, but the support is lasting. Thank you!
