Possibility baby may come early??

I just had my 37 week appointment with my midwife. She didn't do a dialation check, because she said usually they wait until at least 39 weeks. I told her how much main I'm in down there that's why I was curious, but she didn't budge. So she decided to check baby's position and he's head down, but her eyes got super wide she was surprised how low his head was already and said "that is definitely why you're hurting." I've also been having loose stools diarrhea and upset stomachs the past 5 days, and she said my body is prepping for labor most likely. He's not a huge baby either, possibility I won't make it to his due date?? Fingers crossed, cause he's super healthy so I wouldn't mind him coming early.
