Child discipline

What do you guys think about your husband discipline your child?? My daughter listens to him sometimes, but when he yells at her and raise his voice at her, she gets stubborn and dont want to listen. And hes quick to send her to her room. Even in the middle of breakfast. She already a picky eater? So i stepped in and grabbed her leading her back to yhe table. Was i wrong???
