About snapchat.....

So my boyfriend had a request from a weird name on snapchat. He told me about it and didn't know who it was. So he gave me his phone to add the person and try to find out who it was. Well when I added them there was a message. (The message is what the pic is below) So I snapped like wtf you had to have signed up for something like that because they aren't just going to pull your random snapcht to send that too. He swears that he didn't sign up or do anything and he doesn't know why he got that. Is he lying or should I believe him??? I just find it very hard to believe that they found his snapchat and sent this randomly if he didn't sign up or put his snapchat name on a site. 😞
