Do you believe a full moon could trigger labor?

So my doctor told me that the 18th is a full moon and she believes there is a correlation between full moons and labor. I've never heard this before but if it works to get this kid out, I'm game!

My mom was a nurse for years and a obgyn/L&D nurse for most if it. She always said that more babies were born during a full moon.  Im actuall due on the 18th and am hoping for the best.

It's been scientifically proven that women's menstrual cycles often go along with the cycle of the moon and the way the ocean's tides are according to the moon. There is an electromagnetic pull from the moon that somehow interconnects with our bodies. So it would make sense that a full moon could strongly affect our bodies and bring us into labour. Maybe I'm a hippie but ever since I've been pregnant I've been wearing my moonstone necklace and ring, it's said to pull the energy from the moon and supposed to be good for fertility and pregnancy. Just my two cents! Definitely hoping for a baby this full moon!

I know plenty of nurses, Dr's, and paramedics that can vouche that it's true. There's a legit change in Gravity, so science backs it up.

My husband works in an ER.  We are not all superstitious but he says full moon nights are packed.

I'm due Sunday and my town here in Texas is being hit up with thunderstorms and then a full moon right after on the 18th! So I should really have a good chance at going into labor this weekend or on monday! Thunderstorms change the gravity and so does the full moon.they put more pull on the earth.thats why they say that women go into labor on stormy nights and full moons.

I'm hopeful for anything after watching our due date pass! My mom had my brother really early because her water broke and the hospital was really packed that night- I guess they said it was something about full moon and barometric pressure that was breaking everyone's water so maybe??

I've actually been banking on this full moon to do its magic, haha! I'm bummed cause baby girl would be a Leo ( im a Virgo and So is my mom so I thought it'd be neat if she was too) but I'm so over being pregs so I'm ready to embrace this full moon haha
