Food poisoning??? Tmi

I ate a pre packaged salad earlier which I believe is the cause of this. Ever since eating it I've had extremely bad diarrhea. It stopped a little bit so I decided to try a grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup. Immediately after I got diarrhea again. The kind of diarrhea where it feels like you're pissing lava out of your ass. I was totally fine before I ate that salad. Can you get food poisoning from salads? Would it only cause diarrhea? I always thought it caused more symptoms like fever (I checked mine and it was only 99.2) and puking..

It probably isn't full blown food poisoning, your body just knows it has some bad bacteria it needs to get rid of. If you had food poisoning you would be convinced you are dying 😂 it would be coming out both ends every 15 mins.

Salads are one of the worst, if its not washed, or the person packaged it didn't wash their hands then its a germ play ground.  I used to know someone who worked in a restaurant and said to never oder a salad because its touched by to many people

It could just gave upset your stomach. From my experience with food poisoning I couldn't stop throwing up or diarrhea.

I wouldn't recommend pre packaged salads. I was a general manager of a restaurant and we never used any type of pre packaged salads just because the risk of food poisoning is higher in them. I'd just try and drink as much water as you can so you can try and flush everything out of your system.

Typically it comes out both ends maybe there was something in it your sensitive to? Every time i eat red meat i get the shits because im sensitive to red meat but it never gives me any symptoms other then that... Keep hydrated either way
