Does anyone else suffer from HS?

Is there anyone that has Hidradenitis Suppuritiva (Acne Inversa)? Did you see a dermatologist? What treatment was recommended for you? Did it work? How many different types of treatments did you try before you found one that works for you? I've been suffering with it since I was about 14 years old. I'm now 24. And I have YET to see a dermatologist. I've seen regular family practice physicians who always wanna cut and drain them (the lesions) and prescribe me acne medicine and antibiotics (Minocycline) and send me on my way which is a short term solution to a long term problem.
