Idk what to think

So I am currently like 16 days past when AF was due. Today I am having VERY light spotting and it is really red. And when I say light I mean like 3 or for dots on the tampon after several hours of wearing. Normally it's like a flood gate opens from the start of AF, and full of clots, so far no clots. Does any one think I could have just ovulated late and now I'm having implantation bleeding? Or am I just over thinking this?
