5w4d preg

Alright, so yesterday at 5w3d (ish) I woke up and had a little light brown discharge. Didn't really get concerned I just kept and eye on it as it was light and on and off throughout the day. Well last night before going to bed I went to the bathroom and when I wiped had red blood on the toilet paper. Clearly when a woman sees this she freaks thinking its a miscarriage. It was enough blood for me to think oh boy, but no clots and no pain? I peed a little while later and no blood just a little brown.  I woke up this am, and just had a tint of brown again but that's it. I obviously know I will be contact my doc to share this but any thoughts on this? What it could be, normal, not normal?
