increase milk supply ??

Since I have gone back to work and I have also had a couple surgeries in the last 2 months, my milk supply is really suffering! What tips do you have?

It doesn't taste the best, but mother's milk tea has helped me a lot. I went from getting 4-5 oz a session to 6-8 oz. My OB also gave me a lactation cookie recipe that I haven't got to try yet, but he said I have to eat 4-6 cookies a day for it to really help. (That basically translate to me being prescribed cookies by my doctor, right?)

Dont skip any pumping session while at work, this will highly reduce your milk supply.

I take fenugreek and literally 3 hrs later I'm engorged.

Mother's Milk tea is nasty, but iced or with honey added hot, it's not so bad. That worked for me and didn't seem to affect my LO.

Look up power pumping. Be careful with any supplements. For many women they have the opposite effect and decrease supply :/

Chocolate chip lactation cookies are the best!!! They taste great a,d within 2 or 3 days your supply will be up again. Brewers yeast is an important ingredient.  And water, water water... I find the more water I drink the more supply I have throughout the day. You can also eat granola and raw oatmeal. Try adding a vitamin c 125mg daily to your routine also.
