Too small?

Question

Hey girls! So I've been planning on getting a specific tattoo for a while now, and yesterday I finally went to the tattoo shop to make my appointment. The artist told me that the specific tattoo that I wanted was too small and would look bad.

This is the tattoo I want, he said the stars would have to be at least the size of a quarter. I was planning on putting it on the back of my arm and it would not fit at that size. 
Do you guys agree or disagree with what he's telling me about the sizing??

Please trust the tattoo artist. It's his job.
I personally agree, because overtime, the tattoo will bleed. The smaller, the worse it'll look.
This is about 3 years old. Each one of my siblings wrote a word.
Anyways, you see the O in "you?" It used to be a circle. See how the ink has bled? I will eventually have to get it covered.

When an artist says it won't look good, they're telling you the truth. They've seen it all.
And to be honest, for him to tell you that, he's an awesome tattoo artist for caring. He could've just done it, taken your money and then you wouldn't be happy with it in a few years.

Completely agree. They would eventually just turn into black dots. I have 10 tattoos and my smallest is about 6 inches long and 2 inches across, and I need to get it redone.

I would trust the tattoo artist. If you're dead set on that tattoo I suggest trying the bigger version that he suggested and find a new spot to put it. The location isn't the most important part of a tattoo, it's the tattoo itself👍🏻
