I read about these vaginal detox things wondering if anybody's ever heard of them or tried them?

There is no REAL scientific evidence that there is any benefit to any sort of "detoxing". Medical professionals and health experts all over have published numerous studies about the scam that is the "detox and cleanse" business. It's nothing but a scheme similar to the diet pill fetish that happened a decade ago.

If it's the things you stick inside you they are dangerous. It was on the news when they first came out becuase they can cause infection. Any OB will tell you to never stick anything up there so it does way more harm then good.

I've never heard of it, but your vagina does NOT require a detox.

If there is "bad stuff" that needs to be removed, that's an infection or medical condition, and your doctor is the one who should be handling that.

Anything else that's in your vagina is supposed to be there.
