Creamy cm but opk neg?!?!

Ive just noticed that I have what looks like creamy/yellowy cm yet the opk test I took last night was neg! I'm pretty confused as it says that I get the creamy/yellowy cm after u ovulate! Should I retake a opk test now even though I took it at 6pm last night?????

The first month of using opks is a learning curve to find out what day you ovulate. Did you already have ewcm? If not, you can have creamy cm before you ovulate. I would keep testing for another 5-7 days. It turned out I don't get a + opk until day 17-18. That first cycle, I worried I didn't ovulate at all! But just be patient.

I'm on cd12! Yesterday I had a noticeably faint line (2nd line) and today a single test line! I'm trying not to worry or stress too much about it, but it's starting to get to me! I didn't use opk's in the past I've just let it b but this is our last baby!

You should have egg white looking mucus around ovulation it should be clear and stretchy. Also OPKs work before you ovulate so you may have already ovulated and not realised
