Induction??

I see a lot of people are getting induced and I'm just curious as to what some reasons would be besides being late over your due date! Just curious because I don't know all of this stuff yet lol

I was induced at 37 weeks because my baby was diagnosed with IUGR. I had gestational hypertension that basically made my placenta crap out.

I was induced with my daughter at exactly 40 weeks due to low fetal movements and static growth! I would defiantly want a second opinion if they advised I be induced this time around tho because it isn't pleasant! Obvs always best to take medial advice but maybe sometimes they are a little too quick to act!

Medical reasons, like placenta issues, preeclampsia, leaking, etc. Also some doctors will induce simply by request after 39 weeks!

Right! So many people getting induced and my doctors office won't even schedule an induction until after you're 41+3 😳😫

I am probably being induced tomorrow because I will be 40w3d and so the doctor can assist/do the labor.
