confused, somebody help me...

so I recently got off of Nexaplanon 2 weeks ago Tuesday, I haven't been taking no form of birth control until my body goes back to normal these past 2 days I've been having sex with my boyfriend and he came inside of me and yeaterday I had a brown discharge after sex, now it's gotten to a dark red light spotting what does that mean.?
