How do I transition breastfeeding to formula?

I have supplementing formula. So how would I use it to transition him to being just formula fed?

I slowly introduced formula to my son. We started with one formula bottle a day for a week then went to two then 3 and so on until we were fully on formula. It helped his belly adjust doing it slow so it didn't bother his tummy at all.

I switched right to the formula but in the beginning the dr recommended that I do both. The only problem was that my baby became constipated which only was only for two days.

When I switched my first to formula after 4 months for medical reasons, I just did it. I stopped breastfeeding cold turkey, and the pediatrician started him out on soy bc they thought he had a milk allergy, we switched formula 4-5 times trying to figure out what was making him projectile vomit, but he had pyloric stenosis it wasn't milk making him puke. I think just going cold turkey is best in my opinion but do what ever you feel is best.
