depo shot ??!! should I get my second shot?

I had my first shot June 13th , and I haven't stopped bleeding ever since , my next shot is scheduled on August 30th , I am very unsure if I should take it because I'm very scared the bleeding won't stop .. Opinions ??

I actually loved my depo shot and kinda wish I had never stopped. I was on it all through high school. I bled for the first few months because yea it is basically a bunch of hormones but after that my period completely stopped, I didn't gain a bunch of weight I actually dropped some weight because it boosts your metabolism and makes you eat more that's why most people gain with it. But it's not for everyone. I was one of the people who just had the good side effects and none of the bad stuff. Like no more constant pain so bad I missed school once a month

It takes a few shots for your body to get used to it but after the seconds shot I stopped bleeding completely and didn't get another period till I got my Nexplanon. And hada regular period that lasted about 3 days and haven't had one since!

Dont go back. Depo is the worst birth control there is and it takes a year once you stop to have the effects go away
