I wrapped mine as tight I could safely with an ace bandage for about a month and it went down. I have to rewrap it every year 1/2 or so. It always goes back down though and no surgery. The doc told me that even with the surgery, there's a possibility it can come back

I have assisted in removing cyst and the way we do it is simple and quick. We use lidocaine injections to numb the area and once it is completely asleep we take a scalpel and make a small incision. Usually we just drain the cyst and send the patient home with the area stitched up and antibiotics for infection. Some we leave open to drain with some packing on the inside. I had one removed from my wrist about 3 years ago, I had no pain either it was just weird to have a lump on my wrist. Here's my scar, you can hardly see it, it's super tiny & recovery was about 3 months.

My aunt just had this done! The surgery itself wasn't painful but afterward she was in pain, mainly because she has four kids and one of them is an infant so she was trying to care for them while healing. The surgery was quick and she thinks it was worth it!
